Episode 03: Dramatic Exit

One of my bucket list items was to parachute out of a plane, even though I am an absolutely pansy about it. Believe it or not, the scariest thing about skydiving was actually booking it online. I was more scared I was going to bitch out the last minute and be out of money than I was of the jump itself.

I originally planned on doing this in Camarillo but weather got in the way. I also felt bad because Amber did not want me doing something risky while we were still together as she lost her best friend last year in a tragic small plane accident. I honored that and waited until I was gone from Camarillo before I did it.

Skydiving isn’t without it’s risks, but with anything there are checks and balances in place. 10/10 would absolutely recommend Skydive Taft for any of you wanting to dip your toes in this sport. Word of warning, it’s cold… bring a sweater!
